Project Management skills that get things done,  together and with good wibes!

With Dragon Dreaming

Dragon Dreaming was developed in Australia by Joan Croft and his wife Viviana Allante. After many years of working in community building, project management, empowerment in education, and deep ecology, they developed the Dragon approach, which is based on the old Aboriginal wisdom for collaborative projects, and incorporated components and elements from Western project management approaches. Great wisdom that is connected to amazing practices.

Dragon divides every project into four stages: Dreaming, Planning, Execution, and Celebration.

1. In the Dreaming stage, we aim to connect to the best possible future vision of our project. We do this by participating in a Dream Circle, which helps uncover our deepest, most hidden creativity.

2. In the Planning stage, we work through powerful actions that we identify—actions that can create a snowball effect on their own. We use the collective wisdom of the group, define goals, and build a wild project board (the Karabirt). All of this is accompanied by complete silence… or by fun music.

3. The Execution stage naturally comes after planning. We move into action! During this stage, we divide into roles and teams, decide on work routines, and review the execution process using the 12 supervision questions.

4. And finally, Celebration! Dragon wouldn’t be Dragon without celebration. We celebrate all the time, especially at key moments such as the completion of significant stages and, of course, at the end of every project. We celebrate through a reflective process using a 3×3 matrix: personal development, community building, and contribution to the environment - across the personal level, the community level, and the ecosystem level. Meaningful insights and “aha!” moments inevitably follow. ✨

Hi, I'm Inbar.

For about 20 years I worked in Israeli high-tech in a variety of roles, from small companies to big corporations. A Holacracy and Sociocracy practitioner, Facilitator and coach.

One of the key things that drive my work is the passion to help people find the way for optimal cooperation, and in my opinion NVC is an essential and inseparable part of that.
